One sentence.
NiteDate is a live, group video dating show where four contestants take turns in a rotating hot seat while a live audience watches, votes, and asks questions.
One paragraph.
NiteDate is the dating show built for the internet, not the broadcast slot. Every Tuesday and Thursday at 9 PM ET, four contestants meet for the first time on a live group video call. An AI co-host named Cass warms the room with light questions. Then the show rotates through the hot seat — one contestant at a time fielding questions from the others and from a live audience, deciding to KEEP each question (answer it) or PASS (leave it hanging). The audience votes. Mutual matches go private. Recaps land in your inbox the same night.

NiteDate is a Brooklyn production studio building live group dating shows for an internet-native audience. We were founded in 2026 on the premise that dating apps stopped pretending to be friends a long time ago, and that the dating-show format works better when the audience is in the room. The flagship show airs live on YouTube, with short-form clips on TikTok and Instagram. Each episode runs fifteen minutes and follows four contestants through a rotating hot-seat format moderated by Cass, an AI co-host built with Pipecat and Google. Audience members watch, vote in real time, and submit questions. Matches happen privately, confirmed by email the same night. Viewing is always free; paid memberships add private speed-dates and a guaranteed seat on a show. For press inquiries, email press@nitedate.com.
“I wanted a dating thing my friends would actually watch.”
Ivan founded NiteDate in 2026 after years of watching friends drown in matches that never met. He hosts the show live every Tuesday and Thursday.
His interest is the question of why dating got so optimized — and how to make it watchable again. NiteDate is the answer he wished existed: fewer matches, better rooms, an audience that shows up.
